DEAD tired...
Hi everybody.
Thanks for the nice words about the wheels! Thanks for posting the pics fatchance. Just got back from my cruise to Ensanada with some buddies for a bachelor party....eeeewwwww, it was ugly. I certainly am not 21 anymore. My body had a heart-to-heart with me this morning about ever trying to put it through that again. For those of you who have not seen fatchance's car in person, it is GORGEOUS!! Sorry for the drool :32:. I'll post pics hopefully this weekend. I have to fly to Vegas for work for a couple of days on Wednesday. Here's some specs for now:

fatchance is right...it's taken me a little time to fall in love with these wheels just because of the huge change. But I dressed up my baby on Thursday night in LA before I left for my cruise on Friday and it was a million times better. I typically would never allow someone to wash my car, but it was a 100% hand-wash. It made all the difference in the world to see them with a clean car with dressed tires. Now I'm in love

. The other issue is that the front driver's side was rubbing. Just eye-balling it it seemed like the camber was off. So I was a little dissappointed that they weren't perfect out of the box after my fiasco with the Gianelle V5's. So I had to stick around in LA today so that Shoreline down in Huntington Beach could roll my fenders. Now...she's perfect. Those guys are a class act and squeezed me in because they knew I needed to get on the road home. I do have some insight for those of you shopping 22s...make sure that you are prepared to do a little extra work. Personally...I think that the tire you choose makes all the difference in the world as to whether or not you'll rub. What I mean by that is that if you take a Pirelli Asymetrico, Kumho, Hankook, Michelin Pilot, NITTO, etc in a 265/35/22...they're all gonna fit different due to sidewall design. I bet if I had put Hankook's on I wouldn't have rubbed because their design has a low profile side wall which avoids the rub in the front. Oh...I'm just gonna be quiet. It's a complicated subject honestly. I'll leave at if anyone has questions about my wheels or the fitment let me know. If any of you are interested in D-forged wheels the address and phone number are on the link. Ask for Ernie (owner) or Chad. They'll take care of you...their great guys. Ernie pretty much carries every wheel label known to man, but these D-forged are made especially for him by Intro Wheel who makes iforged. The chrome on these wheels is spectacular and the quality looks great. I'll post pics as soon as I can. Sorry for the scatter-brained post...I'm just running on fumes.
Will check in later....need sleepy
Thanks again everyone!
