Thought i'd better jump on board & say hello!

As many of you will know, i've been here for quite some time pitching in technical help where I can.
I'm one of NMG's senior technicians, & it's a pleasure for us to be here now as a supporting vendor.
I'd like to think that over the coming months, we may just change your point of view on "stealerships" :smashfrea

The 'Team Mopar Australia' membership is a fantastic deal, as Michael said - most will make their money back after a visit or two.

The Australian Mopar Performance website can be found HERE (Please remove this John, if it is breaching forum guidelines)

In a nutshell, Chrysler Australia have realised how ridiculously overpriced most of the available Mopar equipment was.. & even then it wasn't stocked over here & would have to be brought in on a special order.
There was the occasional happy ending though! ... i.e AUD$1.00 5.7 long engines :pat: haha

Most of you with Mopar CAI's, CatBacks, Suspension components etc would have purchased them from the U.S, & rightfully so to avoid the insane markup.

Now you will be able to purchase anything Mopar, from crate engines, CAI's to 1960s rust repair panels! From a Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge Mopar Performance Dealer - at a competitive price.

If you can find a better price elsewhere, we'll do our best to beat it.

Jamie is more than happy to post items for interstate buyers.

Mopar Performance Accessories come with a 1 year warranty, or 3 years if fitted by the dealer.


From someone who works at the dealer- I wouldn't have it any other way. I treat each & every vehicle as if it were my own. I'm pedantic as hell & drive some of the boys crazy (like Dave-O in the ford commercial!) .. yes it should even be illegal to have mis-matching valve caps on a vehicle!

I'd like to see some group buys being put together, any suggestions just let us know & we'll start compiling a list. Maybe we can get a deal on multiple CRD oil filters for the interstate guys?

i.e Line pressure, shift points, autostick operation?
There's not a lot we can do in that regards with the Starscan, but we can certainly do a little research.

It's been a pleasure helping you so far, hopefully she's 100% fixed when the HIDT module arrives.

Welcome mate and welcome the expertise.

If you can please let me know about the following.

-Line pressure increase
-Increased shift firmness (although line pressure increase will also help here
-Shift points (although Diablo can raise these and is ok)
-Autostick Operation (enable/disable upshift SRT8's 07's and up hold gears in manual mode no up change of gear unless operator does so)
-Decrease/eliminate torque management
-Torque Tag adjustments (torque/power increase allowances)
-Stall increase (& decrease) adjustments

For the knowledge of the members, I had a call from Northern Motor Group last week and chatted with Craig, Service Manager and Chris, Senior Service Adviser. They invited me over to check out their facility and I visited them yesterday and got the Grand Tour. I met all the staff who have anything to do with Chryslers and I was impressed by the amount for experience, years of service and enthusiasm each of them have. The whole facility is set-up very well and inspired confidence in their whole operation. It is great to have them officially on-board.

I hope that interstate members can take advantage of the offer of their service too.

...that comment was funny, you didnt get those valve caps from Ebay did you?? LOL The set I bought lasted the best part of four weeks. Then the little Mopar emblems have disappeared! Gotta love China's efforts at quality!

Great to see a dealer here willing to shre some knowledge. Also excellent to see Chrysler Australia make a decent step into the performance market and start setting up some better/cheaper options for aftermarket parts.

I am keen to become a MOPAR Performance Member in fact I was going to do so at MOPAR Sunday but the stand was too bloody popular :)

I think there are tough times ahead in the automotive business. People are driving less, the inevidable is that there will be less cars on the road.
This means less work to go around, & (in theory) businesses will be doing everything they can to get your support. Surely it must be a good thing for the consumer?!

Sorry about my mind boggling introductory post! Just have to show who's pulling the strings around here :jester:

And the Gold Coast?

I called my service guys and they didn't know about a 10% discount but reckon they will be a MOPAR Perf Centre
