Ok maybe i'm crazy but I could have sworn I read in here someplace that you could access the 300C's oil pressure, oil temperature, and system voltage thru the EVIC - - but I don't see how to do this in my owner's manual. Can you do this, or did I just dream that you can? I'm not so worried about oil tempurature but it's hard for me to get used to not having an oil pressure gauge. A voltmeter would be nice too....... why did Chrysler leave these out anyway?

Mine is very easy, I use the page select button on the right inside of the steering wheel to get to the "System OK" message, then use the up arrow button on the outside left, and I get oil pressure, coolant temp, and (tire pressure), since I have an '06.

What is the normal pressure? Mine is around 15 at idle and 48 at 65 mph. Seems kind of low at 65 mph.
The service manual lists the following (2005 5.7):
curb idle: 4 P.S.I. minimum
3,000 R.P.M.: 25-110 P.S.I. range

Seems kind of strange.

The 15 psi at idle sound pretty low to me. I have checked mine a number of times; but don't know if I have don't know if I have all warmed up.
Mine seems to be 50 at anything over 30MPH, but idle still has always been at least 25. Now that you've got me curious, I'll have to check some more.

Fully warmed up, 15-17 at idle (water temp 212); 48-50 psi, at 80 mph (water temp 204-208) using dealer's 5w30 dino oil.
