I just pulled this info off of a Jeep website under TSBs:

Date: 11/04/04

Model year(s): 2005

Description: Vehicles with the 5.7L Multiple Displacement System (MDS) must use SAE 5W-20 oil. Failure to do so may result in improper operation of the Multiple Displacement System(MDS).

NOTE: This information applies to U.S. and Canada markets only.

It has been addressed but several people are usind Mobil 1 0w20 despite MDS warnings, it's a free country but those who use a non approved weight should not get ticked at DC if they deny a warranty claim.
were are you buying the 5W-20. I haven't come across it in any stores yet.
Checker Auto has Valvoline 5W20 synthetic. They may also have Castrol Synthetic in 5W20..
Advance auto has Castrol Syntec on sale including 5w20 for $3.48/qt.I am going to pick up my third case tomorrow, the Odyssey also requires 5w20 and is the only other engine to have MDS (VCM in Hondaspeak)
