I ordered on 6/19 and just went to "D" status today. Got my VIN as well. Estimated build date is being reported as 7/29. I ordered the sunroof, nav, sirius, uconnect, et al so they must not be expecting any shortages with those.

Interestingly, I called on Tuesday to check status and was told it was BX and that all July scheduling had already been completed and I shouldn't expect any movement (to another status) until the first week of August. However, after talking with the dealer, he was expecting it sooner. So I called back. And guess what....the Tuesday person was wrong.

I guess you just have to keep calling every few days to see if something really does change.

Ordered May 27 and was also moved to D yesterday.
Apparently the first Wed of each month is when the cars are allocated.

Sent a follow-up email to my dealer asking for the "scheduled build date" and he said he didn't have one yet. I think he implied that he won't know until the parts are pulled (D1?), or something to that nature.
Curious how your dealer was able to give you an estimated build date.
Was that his guess or was that provided by Chrysler?

I got the build date from the Chrysler 800 number. She did say though that the date is subject to change and not completely firm until it is D1 status. Even if it changes, from this point it should be close.:)

You ordered 6/19 with a sunroof and you already have a VIN and build date??? Who is your dealer because they must have some pull. I ordered 6/15 and it is still in BX status. Using the friends and family plan so I had to first find a dealer willing to take it. When I heard the allocation examples it became clear I may be in for a long wait. Hope not. The wait is killing me and its only been a few weeks. :D

:) Ordered cool white with gray interior w/everything except moon roof on 6/1.
Called DC 800 number this morning and was told that my 300C is in Michigan waiting to be loaded on train and to expect delivery in approx. 2-weeks (7/31).

7/19 - This morning I was told that my 300C left Michingan by rail on 7/16. The young woman at DC even supplied me with the railcar number.

Ok I have all my goodies (grill,b-pillars,floor mats, splash guards, rims, tires, & license plate frame) in my garage for my 300C. But got a call from my Sales Manager 7/23  that my 300C will not be in now until early August. I'm just so ready to have my 300C. But the good thing is July is over in 5 days :)

ordered 5/2 loaded no sat or cold weather
VIN issued 7/6
7/6 told build date tentative for 7/26
7/20 told build date tentative for 8/7
7/26 told build date tentative for 8/17

this starts my 13th week of waiting ^%@^%[email protected]%^#@^%#@%^[email protected]

I am so frustrated it is turning me off and making me question the whole purchase.. I'm sure the dealer would love to have me bail so he can jack someone else for the markup

this sucks!

Just took delivery of my cool white 300C and after a check-out took it home and then for a drive. Rides like a dream; now it's time to check the manuals and learn more about my baby. From order to delivery took 56 days. I traded in my 2002 300M and there is no comparison with the "C".
