Well resurrecting my own old thread. Just been in for an MOT with my 2014 (rather than my previous 2008 that caused the above) and guess what..... Failed on the parking brakes! In fairness I checked them earlier today and you can turn both wheels by hand with the brake set
So I have just ordered a set of brake shoes - plus discs and pads as those are worn and while I'm having this all apart I'll replace those too. Luckily I already have some spare new actuators so a job in the rain this weekend to strip down and sort the rear brakes.
