Guys

Just downloaded the 2008 one from Sox's site and I can't view anything. Do I need to cut this to disk first and use it from a CD. I thought I could just run default.htm and use it in IE (Chrome). Just wanted to get some torque wrench settings for Track Rod Ends.

Can't help with your download issue, sorry, but my 2007 manual says 63 ft lbs for the ball joint nut and 55 ft lbs for the tie rod jam nut. If you PM me your email address I will send you my copy in PDF format. I imagine that most of it will be the same.

what are you trying to look at it with? Whats your operating system?

normally its a compatibility issue - hit f12 & select '7' rather than 'edge' or settings more than 7 in 'document mode'

in any case, this is from the 2008 manual ....first number is NM, 2nd number is Ft/Lbs, 3rd number is in/lbs (but often shows as " - " (blank))

windows 7 / 8 doesn't like the Service Manual browser (SVG View) - install SVG view, then open the file 'default' by double clicking it. That should get you into the manual's menu.....as I said, when you open the manual menu screen, hit F12, then choose 7 in the compatibility "document mode" mode that opens....DONT shut the compatibility screen while you use the manual

Does anybody know of a stockist for the plastic clips which hold the rubber seals onto the doors ?.

In harsh weather the rubber freezes onto the door frame and when the door is opened (eventually) the bottom part gets pulled off bending the clips!.

Dealer supplies them as part of the whole door seal only and not seperate.

I usually coat the seals with petroleum jelly but occasionaly get caught out !:pat:

I have the service manual ok on my e-reader but tried today using this link from post #16 to download the parts manual:

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/23809418/2007LEParts.pdf

Dropbox reports a 404 page not found error.

Another other way to get this manual?

am i blind or cant seem to see 2008 crd models there?... im after part number for O2 sensor circuit range/performance bank 1 sensor 1 (P2A00)
yes youre blind

the link for 2008 including CRD is in post number 14, but in fairness it appears to be dead nowadays. I'll see if I can upload it. If it appears I suggest you download and save it, as I may not be able to retain a file that size here - I had to cheat to get it to upload.........
