Has anyone with the GT performance timer computed the aerodynamic drag (CDA) on a stock 300C doing coastdown tests? Or found the specifications somewhere on the net?

On the horsepower min/max settings, since these animals shift rather longish, would it make more sense to set max speed up to 80 or 90 instead of the default 60 mph?

Curious to see if any gearheads or experienced GT Timer users have set all this up. I just received my timer, and I want to get some baselines before I add a Volant CAI, and I'm trying to save myself a little time! :wink1:

More questions about the GT2. This one about the 1/4 mile timer. I went to visit my Mom and take her to church this morning. It's about 65 miles away. About 55 miles of that is interstate and I babied the car all the way out. 25.7 MPG w/speeds from 60-70 using the cruise control 95% of the time. So I get off the freeway and turn onto this long straight country road that leads to my Moms and there's no traffic.

I stop, set the timer, and make my first 1/4 mile run. It was FUN! See attached! :)

The road is in very good shape, about a .02 g incline the first 1/8 th and about a .02 decline the 2nd 1/8th mile. Temp was about 65 and I left traction control ON since the road was just a touch damp. Frankly I'm impressed. It's only one run on a country road, but it's a better time than I expected.

My understanding is that the setup information I entered into the timer only affected horsepower information, not timed runs. True? I guess I'm wondering if there is any setup information that could be fooling the timer. All I've changed is the weight and CDA per the manuals instructions.

I'm Curious as to what you think...
