Had a great time at the track last Sunday, as it was Central Ohio LX Club's first outing of the year. Good to see some old friends and make some new ones... just nice to see the modern Mopars out of hibernation!

Only thing that sucked was cars blowing up on the track all day. It was the first open test-n-tune of the season, so it was packed. Most only got 2 or 3 runs in, due to all of the delays. Hell of a time, regardless.

For me, I still consider myself a track rookie, but got my personal best of 14.2 - not happy that's my best, but I still have yet to hook on a single pass in my (short) racing career. lol. Just got some headers and mids, and plan to get a set of DR's this summer, so I better be well into the 13's. But to be honest, I just love running down the track - could care less if I ran 23's... haha.

This is my dude Ross' badass Chally. We were looking forward to this matchup - lined up against a twin turbo Stang. Ross crushed him. Think it was a 10.4 pass. His SRT Chally is a stroked 426 running a 200 shot - stupid fast.

BTW the white Ram with the Red stripes, did you happen to notice anything about it? I think it is the one that runs around Newark and sounds DAMN good!

Indeed we did. The vets got to finally scratch that itch after an awful long winter. And we had quite a few first-timers that caught the bug. Good way to start the season. Looking forward to some more track time this year.

Haha. Thanks man. I've been consumed with work right now - hoping the load lightens soon.

And yeah, too bad you couldn't make it. Looks like there was a good response on the FB page about weeknight racing, so I'll put together another outing for the club soon. Gotta make the next one!

I remember seeing it, but must not have paid attention. I've never seen that track so busy - it was packed. But you tend to see the same group there from time to time, so I'll keep an eye out next time I'm there.
