I picked up my 300C last wednesday and today I noticed something that kind of bothered me. I tapped on the wheels and there are obviously plastic covers over the spoked rims. Is this how it should be? Chrysler's website advertises the wheels as: "18 inch chrome-clad 9-spoke aluminum wheels"

Maybe it's not as it should be; but, it is how is. Everybody's C came with the base metal/plastic/chrome.

There are various threads with problems (corrosion @ edges) related to this design. I believe most of the problems come from the "rust belt".

Yes, you are correct and this is exactly how they are. Chrome clad certainly sounds much better than chrome plastic covered...don't you agree? ;)
