True about the Photobucket policies that were implemented some time ago. It did create a bit of a stir at first but they've "grandfathered" images that were already hosted prior to the policy changes. Prior to them doing that the images could not be viewed and were represented by an image inserted by PB showing some text regarding the image was no longer available. That's been sorted.

However, PB pics would be linked and I believe we can all see them fine, whether they are our own or posted by others such as badgx's beautiful estate.

The images we can't see are attached images uploaded from a hard drive on the host computer using the "Manage Attachments" process for new posts or new threads.

Correct. As per my last response we sent that up to tech as attached images are showing as links instead of embedded images.
However if you click them you can see them in a new tab on your browser.

The ones that are completely blank is being looked into.

Thanks. I just wanted to be clear regarding which images were, and were not, visible to the members here.

I always used tinypic so now I know why none of my pics have been showing up (not secure)

Can anyone recommend a free secure image hosting site they use?

Images need a file extension at the end of the URL. That link is to the page the image is on, not the image itself.

Right click the image and click "Copy Image Address" Try that.

Anyone seeing the imgur pic I posted? I'm not... :(
Not seeing it either.

Imgur is a secure website so that isn't the problem here.

What process did you follow to post it up here?

As JB said, you need to copy the URL and then use the "Insert Image" icon here and paste it in the popup box.

I made that mistake that JB described. Fixed it now...

I've stayed out of this discussion to see where it went, and am now ready to see if I can once again post pictures. Here's one of a diecast model for test purposes:

EDIT: Just a link. Not what I expected. Oh well, back to the drawing board!

Right click on the pic and choose view image, then in the address bar, copy the url, it should end with JPG.

Not sure if this will help, but in this thread there are posted images that cannot be readily seen. Both firefox and internet exploder 11 had this issue for me, on Windows 10.
Desiree commented that they could click on the link to open it, but I could see no link.
For me, all I could see was where it said, "Attached Thumbnails" in black text, and it was not clickable.
I moved the mouse cursor around clicking on the words to no effect, but I stumbled across a tiny point just below the letter A where the mouse cursor turned into a pointing finger. There was nothing visible showing anything at all there. It took me about two minutes to re find that tiny little spot. It is that small, like maybe 1 pixel in size..
I right clicked on that spot, and got the option to open in a new window and I did, and was then able to see the picture in the new window.
It seems to me to be a place holder issue, but I am not an expert,

I used https://imgbb.com/ to upload the pic if it is visible, but if you cannot see it, here is the link to the image as a URL.

This is a screen capture showing the point that was clickable. As you can see, there is nothing visibly there.

This is the code I get when I choose inspect element in firefox on that point, if it helps.
