I finally got my Predator this weekend and I have a question on which canned tune I should be using. Here in Seattle our Premium Gas is 92 octane, so can I run the 93 octane tune or am I better running the 91?

Eventually, I will get a CMR tune but I am just curious on which way I should go for now. Thanks for your help.

If you are looking for outright performance, try the 93 canned tune.

Should work fine.

I put in the 93 CAI tune in the MSRT8, but I run a fuel additive that boosts the octane (and provides a synthetic lubricant upon combustion to the upper cylinder). I can tell you that canned tune is very much more to my likeing than the way it ran stock! Even if I never get a CMR tune, this is the way I thought it should drive from the get-go... and I mean GO!

Try the 93 tune with CAI. The CAI tune adds a little more fuel over the 93 only tune.
Then hook up the tuner and datalog for Short term knock retard and Long Term knock retard.
Short term KR is normally ok if very short in duration during shifts.
But Long Term KR is very bad and needs to be avoided.
