Nope, unless they are throwing it in free with the car.kobe8 said:Debating the protection package with the paint sealer, undercoating interior sealent etc . is this package worth the investment
You hope they APPLY the sealant....sometimes it doesn't get out of the bottle, just written down on paper.II kings 9:20 said:In a word, NO unless it's free and still NO. I'll bet they apply the sealant and don't even clay the car, what idiots. Your dealer is a trying to rob you and screw up your car.
Stay the hell away from any dealer offer of this nature !!! ( Take it from experience in years past). The principle ig great, get it done after market from a reputable service provider,kobe8 said:Debating the protection package with the paint sealer, undercoating interior sealent etc . is this package worth the investment
That would be a resounding no, unless as NR suggested, it's free.kobe8 said:Debating the protection package with the paint sealer, undercoating interior sealent etc . is this package worth the investment
I plan on keeping my 300C for a very very long time. After reading this thread I am still a bit confused. The part that I am clear on is that DO NOT get the paint protection as Gary's (Turbomangt) stuff does the same if not better job. I also understand not to get the leather protection, so if someone could explain what the alternate would be to protect the leather.II kings 9:20 said:In a word, NO unless it's free and still NO. Undercoating may trap moisture and hide rust. Your dealer is a trying to rob you and screw up your car.
Please refer to this thread from today which also addresses the exact same subject. :wink:Koolkar said:I plan on keeping my 300C for a very very long time. The part I am not sure is do I get the undercoating done? The above poster says that the undercoating may trap moisture and hide rust ... if this is the case then even if you get it done for free it's not worth it. I have been told it also acts as a sound barrier as well protects from the salt in these Canadian winters. I would really appreciate some feedback from the "GURUS" on this forum. Thanks!
