I have two question that maybe someone may help me with. I notice that sometimes when using the nav. system, the estimated remaining time stays on -0-.Does anyone know why.

When driving at night, shouldn't the Nav screen automatically get dimmer? It seems awfully bright. When I check it by turning my lights on/off the screen remains at the same brightness.

Also check the dimmer settings for the dash. One notch before your interior lights are turned on, there is a setting for maximum brightness regardless of whether your headlights are on. This is useful for when you are driving in daylight, but the headlights are on, (like when it's raining and the headlights come on automatically with the wipers).

But, at night, this settings leaves the NAV unit brightness too high. If you rotate the dimmer down a bit, you'll feel it click to a setting that maximizes the dash brightness, but still allows the lights to dim when the headlights turn on.

Catcmeifucan: I know about this option. It lists an automatic feature, which was turned on. The light still did not dim.

Barracudadman: You the man. You hit it right on the head. Not only did I have my dimmer on the brightest setting, I discovered on the other setting, not only does the screen dim when I turn the headlights on, the interior dimmer adjustment also adjusts the light on the screen.

Thank you for your help.

Does anyone have the answer to my other question?
