When I start my car my speakers will not put out any sounds for at least 20 min. Any ideas how to fix this?

Are you in a cold part of the country?

If so, then it might be that there is a bad electrical connection and when the car heats up, things expand and cause things to make a better connection and it starts working.

Can't offer any resolution, but you might include more information: what year... stock radio or aftermarket... anyone been into the dash or electrical recently... any other issues?

According to my Owner's Manual, in the event of excessive electrical demand, eg from heated seats, rear screen heater, lights, etc., and in the case of my CRD, the 1 kW cabin heater, the ECU may selectively shut down accessories to conserve power. I have experienced this situation on frosty mornings when the heated seats wouldn't come on until after driving for a few minutes.
