RB1 vs REC. What is the difference?

Hi all,

Based on the threads here. I understand that there are two types of Nave units. The REC and the RB1. I'm assuming that if I want to upgrade my 05 300C to the Navigation unit, I need the REC. How do I tell the difference? Also, what is the difference.

The REC is a can bus radio, the RB1 is not. Different communication. The can bus is the next generation radio that all vehicles will eventually go to. The other major difference is the screen size, with the REC being larger. Mapping is the same, they both use the same DVD disc.
