5.7litre 300c best power 583rwhp
What was different about this particular 5.7l engine that it prodeuced 583 rwhp? Was it rebuilt, or are we talking about a stocker, setup to potentially dangers boost levels?

Thanks,

greg

p.s. Also, pricing would be nice....even if its in Aussie dollars ;)

motor was standard and boost never went past 11.5psi, however we set this kit up on a standard motor at 8-9 psi, depending on the kit your chasing they start at $6900

I have heads, cam, headers and exhaust, currently running 380ish rwhp, what would I be looking at with this kit?

Reliability? Is the pistons/rods and bottom end going to take this HP for some time?
Any extensive testing in this aspect?

i would expect 580-640ish depending on the static compression seeing that you have heads fitted
Just so I understand this completely, you're saying a stock 5.7L engine with stock pistons/ring land can take on 580-640rwhp (your test vehicle 583)? I truly didn't think they had the capacity to go that high.

yes stock motor, but as we also said testing, the car was delivered at 450rwhp though
