I have the 300S with RE2 Radio with 8.4" screen and no NAV. Unfortunately, I don't have the Rear Camera either. It appears that there is a MOPAR OEM camera available, but the camera is part of the trunk lid center brake light/button. Where is the camera on the factory unit? isn't this too high? Also, in the factory unity there are coloured grid lines; does anybody know if the aftermarket camera also has these grid markings?

My C has the camera opposite of the trunk button on the brake light. Not sure about the added unit, but I would imagine that if you bought a Mopar unit with the camera it should be the same way and plug right in. Wait for a few guys to chime in that are more technically proficient than me, im sure they know how to do it. Probably would be easier to buy a new brake light with the button and camera and wire it in.

I made a mistake......Yes, the Mopar aftermarket is part of the center brake light assembly, opposite the trunk button. How good is the view? does it have the grid lines? How effective will it be backing into a parking spot and NOT hitting the car I'm approaching?
Still, anybody buy the kit? interested in your views.

I just wanted to give this a bump because I have the same exact issue. I plan on buying the aftermarket unit as well. Does anyone know if the dealer has to do this or any install place can?
The dealer always gives me a whole bunch of excuses so id like to avoid them if at all possible.

If you buy the aftermarket camera from Jemko or Mopar, it MUST be "added" by the dealer as a new car option with their scan toys etc. Instructions come with it, takes 10 minutes, and I imagine $75 plus or minus. The Lockpic is it's own 'hack'.
