I did a search but could'nt find any info. Is there a way to set the computer so that when you turn off the car all 4 door locks unlock and not just the front 2? When I have rear seat passengers they get stuck back there and I always have to unlock the door manually for them. I have never had a car that didnt unlock all 4 doors when shut off. Its not a big deal but I would like to know if there is a way around it. Thanks

That is something that can be programmed in the EVIC under Personal Settings. It is listed as Auto Unlock On Exit. It is on page 155 in the owner’s manual. I’ve not gotten used to all of the commands of this system and find I have the owner’s manual in my lap more than in the glove box. Hope this helps.

Thanks danno, I knew it was in there somewhere! Replaced the grandbaby in my lap with the manual and here is the procedure:

EVIC > Personal Settings > Auto Unlock on Exit > select 'ON'

This allows all 4 doors to unlock when the driver's door is opened and the car is in Park or Neutral...

Incidentally, this is separate from the child safety feature, which prevents the doors from being opened from the inside even when the door is unlocked, by flipping the switch inside the rear door near the latch as indicated by jeepgrady.

Anyone know if this can be done on the Touring model without steering wheel controls?
Try this

1) Get in the car and close all the doors.
2) Put key in ignition and cycle key between RUN and LOCK 4 times, ending on LOCK (RUN / LOCK / RUN / LOCK / RUN / LOCK / RUN / LOCK).
3) Press and release the Unlock button on the door.

Hopefully that's not the ejector seat control.

I don't know, but I'll ask my dealer tomorrow, as this also bugs me as well. They did tell me that they can have 'daytime running lights' going for me if I really wanted them, as they showed me how they took care of this for another one of their customers with a 'Pacifica'.

thanks DJ...let me know what you find out. I will ask too when I get a chance to get to the nearest dealer.
No lo problemo, as I've got my dealer and my body/paint shop already doing some mods for me...gotta check on my car anyway.

Hey Ink, I am pretty sure I read this the other day in the manual when I was trying to figure out how to shut off the horn when locking the car with the remote. When I get a minute (at work) I will go get the manual and find it, unless someone here beats me to it!
