It’s pretty cold here in Albany NY since winter my
driver side rear view mirror has hase/ice crystals,
like its frozen ice crystals where the glue was on the back of the mirror.
hard to explaine but I car barley see out of it.
Thinking about using the wifes hair dryer on it to see if it goes away.

anyone else have this problem

Is it a brown color? The black coating on the glass maybe rusting.

i had the exact same problem last year with mine, and it had to be replaced because the glass was separating from the mirror surface. it looks worse in the winter with the ice, but will not get better and continue to separate. luckily mine was covered under warranty at that time.

Its funny, I have the exact same thing happening. Mine is an 05 and this started happening this winter. I was assuming the mirror would have to be replaced. Don't know what it's going to cost or if its covered by my extended warranty.

i would think that is should be covered under your warranty. the whole mirror unit (casing and all) was replaced since it involves the auto dim and heating as well
