I finally had my 300C in for service on the failed Reversing alarm. I went armed with the forum discussion about the reed relay in the electical connector for trailers.

They called the service people in Melbourne and were told to replace the trailer connector. Instant ix!!

Way to go forum members - this was the cause and you guys were right on the money. Funnily enough the service manger at my local dealership had told me that his edxperience with forums (he had some experience with a Subaru forum) was that they were of little help. I took great delight in telling him that the 300C foru is rigfht on the money.

Good news DenisM!

I have found 300C forums best by far in sharing of knowledge which have helped me heaps in different issues. e.g. your posting resulted in a fix for me too :biggrin:

It's a great community and if we contribute where we can - all will benefit.
