2005 Chrysler 300c 5.7l.
Need some expert advice. I just installed a remanufactured PCM, it's been updated with my VIN. From what I've read here and in other forums, and according to the company that sold me the unit, as well as the locksmith, the car shouldn't run without having the SKIM updated. But after installing the unit, the car started right up, and no, the red security light is not illuminated. I made an appointment for the locksmith to come to my house tomorrow, but now I'm not sure I need him?
Has anyone else had a similar experience? I dont want to pay the service charge just to have the guy come out and tell me that I wasted his time
