Quite a simple one guys and gals. My 300c has factory fitted chrome trim on the section between front and rear side windows, and in the triangle at the very corner of passenger rear.
They seem to be stuck pretty good.
I want them off, whats the best way?:fing02:

you mean the trim on the Pillar and not the one that runs along the bottom of the window (door to sill trim) right?
if that's the one, use a hair dryer to warm the double sided tape and then slip some fishing line behind it to cut through the tape adhesive.
clean up with mineral oil or goo-gone.
if you are talking about the sill trim it has a small screw on the end when you open the car door, take it off and slide off the trim.
Hope it helps..

Actually, you need to remove the door panels to remove the small trim and the large trim. You run the risk of scratching up the paint and losing the small clips behind the panels on the small trim if you don't remove the door panels.

Additionally, to get to a front bolt behind the mirror for the trim under the window you must remove the door panel. Here is a photo I took when I removed mine.

I am also interested in removing the trim along the bottom of the window (the sill I guess) and the chrome trim thats around the side windows. I'm asuming the trim around the windows will just pull off somehow. But I'm wanting to color match the chrome trim along the sill.

For terminology's sake, working in a parts dept... Lol

Moulding on top of door that's chrome is called a Belt Moulding, the thicker vertical trims that sometimes can be chrome are B pillar trims, and if they're a black tape, it's Appliqué.

Sorry, just felt the need to be a nerd lol.

After:

The only chrome left is the on the bottom of the window sill....which could be easily replaced with magnum moulding, which is black.

I was wondering the same thing?
Also, where can I get he thick molding in Black in stead of chrome??
Are you talking about your chrome pieces on the front of your fascia? Those are color matched on the SRT8 car's, all the 5.7s are chrome. You can remove them and have them painted if you like. I was not able to find a set that was not chrome, but they can be ordered from Rock auto or ebay or something cheap if you do not want to take yours off yet

And the thick molding, I am guessing you are talking about what goes under window?

All 300's have chrome ones. I looked for awhile and as far as I can tell, you can not get NEW black ones except from the dealer. I just recently picked up a set of black ones from a Magnum, the Magnum has black and can be swapped with the 300's. Or you can just paint or plasti-dip yours.
