Yikes! A 300C without chrome... looks absolutely naked. I am trying figure out if there is any way I can get more chrome on mine! I like the bling, and this body style really looks great dressed up a bit. Personal taste I guess. I saw one yesterday completely painted flat black. Even the wheels were dull black. A cast iron skillet is more shiny. I don't get it. The car is a classic and is instantly recognizable until it is given the stealth treatment. Then it is hard to tell what it is. Is that the goal? Declassification?

Ditto that, these cars look good with the chrome.

Yes. Ours are a different shape and size. Dealership will only stock OEM chrome. Aftermarket mouldings available in black are popular now. No mouldings mean no door protection. Check CARiD.com, AutoTruckToys.com and J.C. Whitney. Seriously, if you remove yours undamaged I am interested in giving them a new home. The one on my RR door is damaged and I am looking for a replacement.

You can remove them your self. They are stuck on with 3M double sided tape. If you saturate the tape with WD40 the adhesive softens and lets go with a little gentle persuasion with a plastic ice scraper. Never use anything metal to prevent damage to your paint. It takes a little time but beats paying some to do it. A rag soaked in bug and tar remover will finish taking off any remaining glue. A regular car wash will clean off everything and you can polish and wax afterwards.

I found one of the bad things about chrome trim is if you get a little dent
or nick in it it really shows up.At that point you have to do some thing
about it!! -Ray.

Are you talking about your chrome pieces on the front of your fascia? Those are color matched on the SRT8 car's, all the 5.7s are chrome. You can remove them and have them painted if you like. I was not able to find a set that was not chrome, but they can be ordered from Rock auto or ebay or something cheap if you do not want to take yours off yet

And the thick molding, I am guessing you are talking about what goes under window?

All 300's have chrome ones. I looked for awhile and as far as I can tell, you can not get NEW black ones except from the dealer. I just recently picked up a set of black ones from a Magnum, the Magnum has black and can be swapped with the 300's. Or you can just paint or plasti-dip yours.
Do you know what the thin black piece is called and where to buy them from? The little rubber seals. Mine has cracked and wondering if I can just buy the rubber piece. Cheers
