ride height or wheel well gap?

I have yet to see this question asked.
I'll agree the gap is a canyon but I like the actual height. I would rather see a proper tire/wheel combo than to lower her. (like Angie's MissSexC)

For those who have or will drop their C, did you do it because of the gap or because you did not like the height?

Gap

It's the Car the only thing you can do is to lower it. I dont want to do that ither the 20 i have with the 245/40/20tires is just 1.33in smaller then the Toyos 255/45/20.There is still a gap with the Toyos not as much but its there. I have been noticing that a lot of cars have it. The car need's a bigger tires but it can't happen. I dont know what to do ither and my tire guy is getting tired of me.
The Front doest look as bad as the back thou. Oh it just makes my head hurt thinking about this. Some of us have been talking about fender flairs so maybe that will work. Ugh.
I won't drop my height. I need it in the winter because of the snow. And in the summer some of our roads arn't as good as they could be. The long wheelbase makes dropping a C that's a daily driver impractical, IMO.

I don't like the look of the wheel gap. I believe it's optics and I think there is a way to "cheat" the appearance with the right body kit, rather than stick 22" s with no sidewalls on the car. Some of us are working on this issue. If we can create the long, low look with the wheel wells looking full of chrome and rubber, it might be a better alternative to Eibachs and $4000 wheels.
wow, easy joe! :p not everyone is a graphic artist. Got your idea arnold... looks funky for that car huh?
My car is lowered and I'm running the stock rims. I did it because I didn't like the gap. I drive about 52 miles round trip every day from Orange County to LA. I had it lowered the day after I got the car. I've had three lowered vehicles so I know what to expect. I am more than happy with the look and the ride.

Hey Fatchance, I'm getting mine lowered from that dude in Long Beach, is your ride the same as stock? Any differences in your oppinion?
It's real close to stock. You'll notice little difference but it's minor. The biggest change is pulling up to parking stops, they are right there. As far as drive ways and speed bumps nothing that I wasn't aware of. I would do it again in a second, no regrets at all.

Maybe this......
Hey, that reminds me of an early 50's Mercury hot rod I once owned. Also, an 80 deVille, as well. A rear skirt may have possiblities, Arnold.
Here's another thought to give a lowered look overall (photochopped):
