RC, am I dreaming or has that hood been released for some while now? I remember seeing it for sale on your site about a month ago.
Personally, I dont care for it, at first glance it really dosent appear 'aftermarket' to me. Although Ive never seen it in person, but just judging based upon your pics.

However, the scoop hood you make for the Magnum is definatly mean, and if you made one for the C Id be the first person in line!
Is there any chance that hood could be made for the C? Even if there is not enough demand to manufacture it do you think you could still custom make one for me? If so please send me a PM and we will discuss it further.

I am with Lennox! I would prefer an open intak type of a hood with high rise intake scoops or "Viper" style hood with dual tear-drop openings.

Or in the very least a functional ram air hood with an opening on the left side and hood ducting to the airbox to get to the airbox.

Just as many of you have expressed, I would also like this hood very much!
Kudos to RK for making the only aftermarket hood for our cars (tommyz?), but I still think we need more options! Personally I think the scoop hood is very appriopriate for our cars, even if it serves 'no real purpose' and is just cosmetic.
SPEAK UP guys! Hopefully we can get this hood made for us, if enough of you are interested! If not Im sure eventually someone will beat RK to the punch and come out with one, which Ill be the first inline for!

Maybe even a custom hood with low profile side-by-side intake scoops might look just as appropriate as well. :cool2:

Viper scooped 300 hood.

OK here's the deal.

I need to get 20 orders, pre-orders actually to show that this board and it's members are serious about a hood for the 300 with the same viper scoop as our Magnum hood has (or very similar to it.) and it will be made functional as well! The retail on this hood has been set at $795.00, these will be pre-sold at $450. YES, $450! The first 20 orders will be for $450ea.

How this works is I will need each person that wants one to e-mail or call me with your information just as if you were placing a normal order. I will take down your credit card info but YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED until the hood is ready to ship. Also I will be contacting each and every one of you before we ship to let you know that the hood is shipping and that we will be charging your credit card.

The sooner we hit 20 orders the sooner this mold will start it's production. Generally speaking it takes 45-60 days to complete a mold and test fit a production unit, QC each (production hood and mold once completed) and get the first unit shipped. If we get things rolling now we could POSSIBLY have this hood done before SEMA for those of you who will be taking their cars there.

Also, what is the weight difference? The stock 300c is made of light weight Aluminum... I'm into "fast" not just "fancy." Power to weight ratio is what it is all about.

Well, we were right in the middle of having it done and the person responsible decided to leave the company. I just hired a "new guy" and when he is up to speed on the rest I will have him put a "chop" together. Sorry for the delay.
Also there hasn't been much feed back for this new hood. We only have two documented phone in orders. If the masses do not step up (I understand that most may be waiting on the "chop") we just can't justify building it.
