I hope you do realize that the hood in question has not be painted. That is how it will be shipped to the buyer.

Of course I do. But I still don't car for that brown, off-gold thingy goin' on. That's what I was really referring to.

BUt the hood itself (the item in question) aint half bad. COnforms to the original design lines and "adds" a new dimension. I just want the louvres to be real.

That car has been around for along time.
Think it is called the Hearst Edition.
Not to knock the paint job, which is OK with me, but I recall someone jokingly saying the paint job looked like skid marks on King Kong's underwear

Hurst editions have a long history of providing real "grunt" etc to major AMerican manufacturers. He could do alot worse.
I just wanna see a Hurst shifter inside.

I have to agree with Redman, I want the louvers to be real, and I would also like to know if the hood is metal.
I like the paint work that he had/has on the car. I was thinking of doing something like it on mine.
I think that there were actually some Hurst Edition 300's built in the years past. I know that the Hurst/Olds 442's were pretty wicked.

I like it. If it were painted, it would really look good, especially on the SRT8's. Or a C with a supercharger. Hope the fit and finish are good. I assume it's fiberglass and they can be a real pain if not produced correctly.
