I just had the engine rebuilt on my 2006 300c 5.7 and got it back from the shop and noticed the idle was running rough around 560 in drive at a stop. It would stay at this rpm at every stop and even when shut off and restarted the motor it would continue this idle rpm.

I did find a temporary fix, After warming the engine up to operating temp around 200 deg. F and driving around for about 10 minutes I would come to a stop and sure enough the engine would idle rough at 560 rpm, Then I would put the car in park and not shut off the engine and the idle would immediately oscillate for a few seconds and settle on 620 rpm I would have to leave it in park for about 30 seconds and then put the car back in drive, the idle would maintain the 620 to 600 rpm range and be smooth.

I would have to go through this procedure each and every time I start the car for a smooth idle. I have no P codes during this whole time. Please help as I'm trying to sell the car and want it to preform normally.
