all i can say from expericence with other wheels that offset is usually for smaller cars like maybe a neon, honda, or nissan. i belive the best offset for a 300 is any where between +15 to +20. Someone correct me if I am wrong i am new to this website but have read alot about this.

That offset requires a spacer for the 300. It will stick out but not alot. Tires thread will probably wear out on the inside quicker than the outside. If you have seen F1 racing when they do the slow motion close ups and these guys go through turns. The inside of the tire is on the payment while the outside is slightly in the air. I will admit we are not making turns at 100+ mph but our car is heavier than F1 or indy cars which will still cause the same problem. Center bore is about 71.3mm.

i was chatting with the guy from sequence wheels and was telling him that i might like to go with a 275/40/20 tire.... his suggestion on a wheel was 20x9.5 with a 27mm offset so that i pushed the tire in the fenderwell some to hel with rubbing....... now he is the expert, but it seemed to me this would, as e55 pointed out, cause the tire to rub on some of the suspension components?
