Just brought my car in for 1 yr service. $425 as last time. Also they mention the $95 wheel rotation and alignment but I say no.

A woman there was very upset with her bill of $500 service and arguing with the service manager. Don't know if she can get some dollar off at the end.

Just got the car back from "physio" booked it in on the 3rd of July for 24,000k's service (only done about 16,000Ks).

Got quoted $330 from Peter Warren Chrysler.

Had my 24000 service on Tuesday at the new Berwick Chrysler in Hallam. Nice new dealership - they had the national launch of the Dodge Nitro going on while I was there - media everywhere from all the mags, newspapers etc. Was huge!

Anyway, just letting you know how my service went. I had a list of niggly things I needed rectified including the following:
rattling sunroof (badly)
flickering headlights (they were like a strobe light)
tranny o-rings
indicator recall
seat moving back on exit wasn't working
damaged mirror (some a$$hole hit while I was parked).

The outcome:

All the little minor things fixed no problem.

However, my sunroof makes exactly the same bad rattling noise as before, and to top it off, I now can't even shut the sun blind! I rang them back immediately and to their credit were very apologetic and I am bringing it back next Tuesday to hopefully be correctly fixed this time. The service manager is giving me his car for the day, otherwise I would have to wait another 3 weeks for a loan car.

My mirror is rooted - the mechanism inside has been broken and it is un repairable. Cost for a new mirror - $773 fitted (this is trade cost as I am in the industry)!!!:scared: I am so pi$$ed off about the mirror particularly when I had nothing to do with it. I am just going to leave it for the time being as i have positioned it where it needs to be so it is still useable.

All up my service cost $260 (this is a trade price with me supplying my own oil). I'll let you know how I go with the sunroof issue.

Just had 24,000km service done cost was $325.00. Also had sunroof rattle sorted, the boys did a great job, no rattles now

Booked AHEMI in for 24,000k service at Werribee Chrysler and asked for all up cost. Quoted $330-00 all up. Loaner car supplied 6th July.
Cheers
just looked at what I had previously written and see I put "6th. July". Should have been "6th. June". So work was done in less than four hours and dealer called me to say come and pick it up. Last week got a call from the dealers P/R officer to check I was happy with everything. I introduced Amanda to this web site and so far she is just lurking and learning. Look forward to some input from the dealers perspective Amanda when you are ready.
Cheers

Maintenance

My 300C has just has regular oil changes (every 3K) @ $40 ea. Tire rotations cost me $10 every 6K. The rest of the items in the maintenance book I can do myself except checking the transmission fluid level. What do the dealers do to check that? Do they put another plug on it, or do they replace the plug with a dipstick? Early cars had transmission failures due to water in the tranny. Was the sealed system method used to eliminate that?

Just got back from Brighton Chrylser after picking up SRT 61 from her 12,000 kilometre service (well she has only done 8,700 kilometres actually).

:sad2: I had no problems whatsoever to report to be attended to :sad2:

Those of you how have been around here for a while might remember I got the first 3 services thrown into the deal, but that was written on the sale contract for HEMI 57 and not written on SRT 61's contract and the sales manager and sales guy have both left the business. Well they honoured the deal so it cost me NIX :D

I supplied the 0W40 Mobil1. If I had to paid for the 12k service it would have been $243.45.

I however am left utterly disgusted with the overall Customer Satisfaction. They gave me a VW Golf loaner :crying: Hope no-one saw me :scared1:

I dont know what your complaining about john i have a rentacar whilst mine is in getting fixed and it's a black nissan tiiba probably the lamest tinniest car i have sat in in a decade.:)
Domenic, tell me it isn't so

Nissan :puke:

The are third behind Hyundai and Suzuki in my book mate, as the biggest (or littlest) POSs on the road.

Have you guys seen how many times this post has been viewed??????

ah oh, discovered a problem on SRT 61 following the service. The mixed up my tyres when they reinstalled them (rears are larger than fronts). Mistakes happen and it is the follow up and how quickly the issue is resolved that really tests Customer Service.

I am working from home today and Brighton Chrysler came to my home, gave me the Service Manager's car to run around in and took SRT 61 away to correct the issue. It was ready to be returned within 90 minutes. Bugger about the issue, bet they will never do that again, but Great Customer service.

Just picked my 300C up from its 12,000k service, $272.0 all up, pretty fair I think, excellent service, and BTW I GOT MY NEW GRILLE - :) I am so happy, will post some pics hopefully on the weekend.

$272 all up is very reasonable for 12,000 km service. The oil alone at my 10,000 km service (CRD) was $330!!! for 9.5 liter of the 5W-30. Look forwards to see your new grille online, I haven't decided which one to get.

Sorry busy all weekend paving to keep the missus quiet about buying the grille :)

Will take some pics soon though,in my 14 year old words, "Dad the grille looks sick!!" I love it, with the moldings removed and lowered it just caps it off. Hopefully soon I will get a chance to fit the clear side markers as well. Then the tinting and I am done for a while.

I (so far) have been really happy with the service I have got from Adelaide City Chrysler, they seem very knowledgeable about the 300, they adjusted the headlight height for me for nothing, I was expecting a bit of chat about it being due to me lowering it but they didn't complain at all.

BTW I have driven a couple of nights now since having them adjusted and havent been flashed once.

cheers

Well I just booked my car in for it's 48,000 km service only to find out I now have to pay for a loan car. All my other services and warranty work I have had a loan car for free but now they will be charging $35 a day for the privilige. I asked why and was informed that they started chagring about 4 weeks ago when they got all new loan cars and as it costs alot to have the cars available they are trying to cover some of the costs.

I thought well if they have all new loan cars maybe this will mean I get to drive something decent for my $35 a day. Uhhmmm WRONG the new cars are the Dodge Caliber and Chrysler Sebring.

Anyway end of my rant I know others have had to pay also and most places charge and I was just lucky to not be charged before but that is not the point......I liked my little freebie!

24k service

$226 excluding oil, "no thanks" on the tyre rotation and wheel balance (having that done under my TIS warranty on Friday).

Remember this is a 3.5 guys! LOL!

Still compares VERY favourably with the Calais when I look back on the records and MUCH better service.

Oh - washed and vacuumed on pick up too! I love my dealer! Mind you, I have a secret weapon for keeping my dealer on side.......
