My car is about to reach the milage where my warranty expires. Should I get a used vehicle inspection?

I asked around and it cost anywhere from $109 to $150 to get a vehicle inspection. Should I get it done before my warranty expires? I'm thinking in case there is something wrong with it, I can get it fixed with the warranty.

Are these used vehicle inspections really worth the money? Do they really tell you anything?

The car is a 2006 Chrysler 300, and the millage is 29,800

Do you get your car regulary maintenced at a dealer? If so they should be checking for any repairs your car needs evertime you take it in.

Why not just send me the $150 if you are going to otherwise flush it down the toilet, PM me and I'll send you my Paypal account:fing02:

you've been driving the car all this time, you have a better idea than anyone what the condition of your car is. The only way this would be of any value would be if they offered a guarantee of some sort; that is if they give it a clean bill of health and then something did fail, they would cover it. But that's not gonna happen. If you have specific suspicions that something may be wrong (brakes, tie rod ends, for example) most any independent shop offers free inspection and estimates for those things; just make sure that if they find something wrong they show you before you ok any repairs.
