I was wondering if anyone has made the attempt to remove the side moldings off the front and rear doors. If someone has, please enlighten us, are their holes underneath the trim, does the paint match (or is clear coat missing) how hard was the task, etc..... The reason I ask is because almost every 300 and magnum I saw at SEMA had the side moldings removed, and it started to catch my eye in a pleasing way.

Thanks in advance!!!

Check dodgemagnum.net. There are a couple of Magnum owners who have done it. IIRC, no holes, paint matches, pretty simple to remove (but I haven't done it myself, so I don't know).

I like the clean look without trim, but that trim help with dents, and where I park at work is notorious for lots of door dings and dents, so I'm gonna leave it on.

there are no holes in the body for any of door moulding . the wing emblem on the trunk lid is the only thing that uses holes to mount to the car . You can use a heat gun or hairdryer to make the mouldings come off easier . if any of the sticky residue remains use rubbing alcohol to remove it
