Does anyone have this update? I noticed a PSI gauge in the diagnostics display(where you press the compass and music buttons for 10 secs). Now, I would normally think this would be a tire pressure monitor, but it doesn't cycle through 4 tires? Or does it, and how?
Actually, before the part where it says 30 psi, it reads the alphabet? Huh? Just wondered if anyone else noticed this.
What in tarnation is this gauge for?

Hmmm,
Lemme go check...

OK, I'm back. It doesn't seem to be that. The oil pressure is underneath the compass raw and above pedal position % data. This is in a display window all by itself. It's about the 5th or 6th display window. Hmmm....

That's sort of the problem with me midwesterc, it wasn't in my manual.
My C was built April 23rd, so the previous computer update I had was in February(22nd I think). I had a couple of issues with mine(temp gauge sticking, oil low chime) so they flashed a software update dated 7/27/04. I think it is version 3.61?

I have to read my manual... how do you guys get all this info? I have never seen much of it.......

Your not going to find it in the User Manual... :) Or the Service Manual from what I hear....

A member found access to it during a long drive by accident I think...

Read more about it here...

Was there a TSB or any info the dealer could refer to in regard to this flash update? I had issues with the temperature readout and was told, no problem existed and DC was not aware of it. My current version is 3.54 2/24/04. If I could point them in the right direction they may actually believe me. (Still trying to convince them the car leads to the right.)

I do not have the TSB number but...

I do not have the TSB number but I did have the temp sticking issue. When I brought it to the dealer they told me the new software 7/27 V3.61 addressed the issue. I had the flash installed and my outside temp now updates frequently. I posted in another thread that I believe the issue is now resolved.

Yes, I believe there is a tsb on the temp gauge sticking. The tsb# is on my work order at home right now, but if no one posts the # by the end of the day, when I get home I'll post it. It probably can also be found on this site or on the dodgemagnum forum by doing a search(I'm not sure, I haven't tried this yet).
BTW - the PSI gauge is another oil pressure gauge. Weird that it has 2 oil pressure gauges on it.
I also had an ever so slight pull to the right and the tsb with the bolt kit completely fixed it. It wasn't as bad as others here have had, but I thought since it was in there for something else, I'd have them check that. Drives straight as an arrow now. :)
So far, I've been extremely happy with my 5 star Chrysler dealer.

Note that you can determine if you have the Tire pressure monitor by looking at the valve stems on your tires: the tire pressure monitoring system has silver valvestems, while the rest are black. IIRC, the tire pressure monitoring won't be available until next year.

Yeah, there are two oil pressure gauge readings in the hidden EVIC menu.
