I've noticed a rattle coming from the passenger side of the car. It only happeans when i'm playing a song with heavy bass and when the bass is set at +2 but usually at -2. Could it be a blown speaker or just a rattle in the door? I honestly don't want the dealer to rip the door apart and find nothing.

In the front or rear? The back dash usually rattles like crazy if you haven't made any changes to it yet. Like pull out that cradboard underside for starters.

If the rattle is coming from the rear, the following TSB can be performed

03/12/05 … 2005 .. #23-007-05a .. Rear Shelf Speaker Buzz/Rattle Sound .. (3)

Are you sure its coming from the passenger side door, sometimes it is tough to tell where low frequency sound is coming from. Have someone sit in the passenger seat to make sure.

just had mine fixed

when i took my car in for an oil change, i had them check the rattle and they did the tsb. the only buzz i have comes from the passenger side door and its hardly noticable. if you get yours fixed let me know what worked.

How long did it take for them to fix the problem? I hate leaving my car with the dealer, they fix one problem but cause 3 more.

i left the car for 3 hours

had an oil change and that speaker rattle.

i still need to have them address my paint chipping... more on that later

I think im having the same problem. I keep on hearing a rattling noise from my passenger side door also. I had this same problem with my 1999 Dodge Intrepid. The sound was coming from the speakers.

Anyone know what all is done to fix the problem with this TSB? Would like to know before I aske them to do it as I have the rattle as well, almost sounds like it's from the sunroof at times.
