on a 2012 300c is sport shift mode only when i shift manually is this what they call sport mode i saw it in the owners manual but never noticed it illuminated on the dash while driving or am i missing a switch somewhere other than the light condensation we have 800 miles on a 2012 tri coat pearl after selling our 2006 cool vanilla 300c the 2012 is the absolute perfect touring car for us a tsb will pop up for the water in lights issue or i may just find the leak and silicone it but we will see. this is a major improvement from our 2006.. interior is off the hook.

I believe what your talking about is the sport handling mode I don't believe it effects the shifting but I may be wrong. You can activate the sport mode in the controls menu by hitting the "controls" icon where you turn on/off the heated seats and steering wheel. I notice a big difference in the ride when the vehicle is in sport mode, it's much stiffer and very noticeable unlike previous vehicle that have had the option that you could hardly tell the difference.
