Despite legendary efforts to keep new model information secret, details about Chrysler's new SRT-8 Coupe have just been leaked to the world press. Official Chrysler brochure photos apparently stolen from DCX's advertising firm in Croatia reveal further refinement of the company's original winning 300C design.
Responding to the unauthorized release, officials at DCX remain tight-lipped, citing legal concerns and European Union regulations. Nevertheless, credible sources on the web report that Chrysler's CEO Dieter Zetsche sharply rebuked fellow board members Monday morning, demanding to know,"Vat de hell ist goinge on heere? Vehn my fatder vos inn de Reiche, day hat kiene promblem mit V-1 rocket securite. Just askenzie de Brits, yaah. Idiotootens!"
Additional information concerning the long-rumored 300C Nurburgring version was also made available by the same anonymous sources. Designed by famed European racecar driver Ricky Sals (FIA 2002 Champion), this new 300C version is essentially a "race-ready" platform available for purchase by FIA-registered teams in Europe. Featuring integral air-foils, a shortened platform coupled with Öhlins Racing AB suspension, Motegi Racing Wheels, and a Munich factory-prepared, amerikanische V-10 Viper motor (est. 660 hp - ya, ya, das ist goode) - the Nurburgring "Nordschleife" 300 is slated for introduction in Germany later this year. Whether or not the NN300 makes it to America really depends on consumer demand and Mr. Zetsche's mood that day.

Redman,

Now this one I will buy into. Anyone out there know why I am buying into this picture? Answer: Look at the door post.

A two door version would be nice. I remember not so many years ago I would not even consider getting a four door car. My last car (BMW 528i) and the C are the only four doors I have ever owned. I guess I have to admit I am getting old (50).

You and me both, 4-door, perish the thought!! Then along came his BMW 740i and now my C (and I've got 2yrs on you). Hubby always likes the idea of a 2-door, but I created a bit of controversy in another thread just by saying so... jeesh :p http://www.300cforums.com/showthread.php?t=1432 (see Post #23).

You're not getting old, just more open-minded! I don't care if mine has 2, 3, or 4 doors, I really only need one- for ME... to get in and drive!
