Has anyone installed the stage 2 jet chip yet? What were the results. Has anybody seen anything better than the jet on the market. Any other performance upgrade tips for the SRT-8 will be much appreciated. :AR15firin

Hey Moonlight,
Installed the Stage 2 after the Mopar CAI....& could "feel" the difference right away! Also did the Borla cat-back. Tipping the HP scales @ or around 500!

My first was the CAI, just got my order in with John for the Mag Catback. Not gonna do a chip, but may get a programmer down the line when they show up.

I would assume Bob was thinking along the lines of "450 hp(crank) plus about 20 hp from the Borla(crank) 20 hp from the Jetchip(crank) and 10 hp from the Mopar(crank), which adds up to............drumroll please...................about 390 REAR WHEEL HP.....

By my calc he would be at 410RWHP.

Is the Borla cat-back compatible with the 6.1 HEMI?

Thanks for the info time to start ordering. If i had a dime for everytime i get the highbeam flash I could by my third 6.1. :AR15firin

I want to see some real before/after dyno readings of this chip. No other mods.

Installed the Jet Chip 2 a couple of days ago on my SRT8. Save your money. I can't tell any difference except my wallet is lighter. Maybe the gain is so small that I can't tell. I know it,s not doing anything at the low end. The tires seem to spin the same amout. Might be more power at the top end. That is very hard to measure without a dyno. Cecil........

I was afraid of this.......the 5.7 has been showing a 12rwhp gain on the dyno, which isn't too bad for the money, but I have yet to see one person show any real gains on the 6.1..........looks like we should wait for the programmer

I too have not discerned any substantive increases by using the Jet stage II in my SRT8. I also had the stage II chip in my 5.7L and did feel a difference in that vehicle.

There is currently a few mods out there that will nail your SRT8 down in the low 39x rwhp/low 39xrwtq arena. Cat-Back exhaust specific for the SRT8(Magnaflow is the best, but I am biased and I admit it), long tube headers(1 system available now and 1 more becoming available anytime now), the Mopar CAI and some Amsoil(sorry vvv90, I have to see if you are awake) :D....Seriously, all except the Amsoil.. :D

So far, it does not appear that you can crack 400rwhp/400rwtq on the SRT-8 without at least a small amount of head work or a Supercharger system(GSM has a nice set-up).
