That there is the SRT teams entry in the 2005 Tire Rack One Lap of America race. 2003 was an SRT-4, 2004 was an SRT-10 Ram. (damnit, image isn't showing :( )

That is a great page to track the event from. The photo gallery is where that shot came from

That is the SRTfroums page that will show updates by Ebbtide, who in his day job is Todd Eberline, a DCX employee, who is along with the Lake Effect Racing team as a kinda rolling publicist.

And lastly, the offical web page of One Lap.

Cheer on your favorite:)

(Hope they use a Charger next year:))

RT

Quoted from Ebbs comments

"Notice the huge fender flairs? They're hiding 295 Pilot Sports So far, the upgrades they've admitted to, aside from the phat meats, are an intake and removal of the cats."

As far as color, I imagine any damn color they please, they are, after all, SRT, the guys who made the car:)

[EDIT] It's painted Steel Blue[/EDIT]..., 20"x10" custom BBS wheels (don't try this at home, kids, we're professionals.), custom fabbed fender flares, roll cage, stiffer suspension, race driver seat, gutted rear seat, and more HP than stock :D ....

Just goes to show how dedicated the SRT guys are at developing cars/trucks for the hard core enthusiast... How many of you 300C or SRT-8 owners are going to track prep your baby ???

The LER site will be updated every day with photos and video from the events. Today is dry skidpad, I believe. Keep in mind, LER is sponsored by a few A/V companies, datacam and at least one other.

Note the videos, both of which are SRT-8. Expect better coverage of that car than even from Car and Driver. since Dale and Ebb are both close to Eric and the SRT guys.

Wet Skidpad... Don't want to tear up those $$$ tires on the first day with a week of racing ahead of them..

Dry skidpad is after the track events in a week.

First update from Ebbtide: Answers the color question, amongst others:)

Erich finished the wetskid pad today with a .88. After his run, he was first in the whole group (this may have changed since then). Afterwords, I went and talked to him about his upgrades..

The car is a rescued test mule.
It was black, and has been painted Steel Blue.
I has the entire suspension from a stock Charger SRT-8, which includes 25% stiffer springs and everything that goes with it.
295/30-20 tires mounted on 20x10" custom made 3 piece BBS polished rims.
it has 40mm fiberglass fender flairs, Custom spoiler and front air dam for zero lift.
Engine is stock 6.1L w/ cleaned up heads and intake manifold. Stock exhaust manifold.
Gutted cats, stock center muffler, and the rear resonators have been removed.
Mopar CAI. Stock ECU/TCM with cat check disabled.
Stock brakes with Carbotech XP9 front pads.
Stock ABS/ESP. The ESP was partially disabled for the wet skid pad.

First photo gallery with Erich and the first group is up now. We'll get another one up after Dale/Dunnie run. Videos are being made as we speak.

Great information, now for the questions for Erich. :D
1. Where can I get the 40mm fiberglass fender flairs?
2. WHAT does "...w /cleaned up heads and intake manifold." mean exactly?
3. What exactly was done to "clean them up"?
4. Where can I get the 40mm fender flairs?
5. Did I mention the fender flairs?
6. Oh, ya, where can I get the fender flairs? :D
