After looking at a thousand rims and getting several headaches I finally decided on going with staggered 22" Asanti AF 132s. The sizes are 22x8.5 for the fronts and 22x10.5 for the rears(3 inch lip and 5 inch lip respectively) I also lowered the car with the Eibach Prokit springs resulting in a real nasty stance to go with a real nasty 5 inch lip...Yes, I did have to roll the fenders a little . I think I may have to change my name from ClassyC to NastyC!!!!! :cool2:

Sorry for the fuzzy pic

nice wheels. But why did you have to roll your fenders? your not sitting too low in the back. I have the same drop on my car and didn't have to roll the fenders. I have 22.10 in the back. Im going to roll my fenders once i get my new 22's because i am going to cut some of the coil so that it can sit lower.

It was just a little at the top of the fender. I felt a little rub when I went over a dip on the Highway...now I don't have to worry about future dips

What's the backspacing (offset) of those rear 22x10.5s? I'd looking into something that wide if it can fit.

And what tires? 295-30s?
The tires are Perrelli 265/35 in the front and 295/30 in the rear...I'll have to get back to you with the offset, the rims had to be built by Asanti direct so I'm not positive what offset they used but I'll be able to get that info for you.

Simply Beautiful Classy,

I wanted to put the same staggered 22's on my SRT-8 and Asanti said they would only do 22x8.5 all the way around :eek:uch: . So I decided to wait. Big Brembo brake issue. Hopefully They figure something out because you can't loose with twenty twooos!

NastyC,

I am glad to see another Black C out there on 22'' AF132's. These are the sickest rims out there right now. The one diffrence between yours and mine is the fact that you lowered yours and your running 295's in the rear. I kept asking my rim shop if i could run a larger tire in the rear, but they said no...guess they were wrong. I have gotten sooo many complements on the car since the wheel upgrade. A friend told me "Damn your car looks like a $90,000 car with those things". I would have to agree. Another friend (who is a mechanic at a BMW dealership in Newport Beach, and sees Asanti's all day long) said "the lip is so deep he could shave in it". he didnt think it was possible to get a 5 inch lip on the 300.

I have thought about lowering my ride, but am afraid of how it will ride. I want to preserve that plush feeling that i have right now.

My one suggestion would be to upgrade that grill. Those wheels need some more bling to balance them out.

Here is my ride...http://www.300cforums.com/forums/ne...istance/11162-new-user-check-out-my-ride.html

That is one NASTY C

iForged are a lot cheaper than Asanti's (about 1/2 the cost) but you're lucky if they send you what you ordered. They actually tried to blame me and the shop I ordered them through for the poor fitment . Even after I forwarded the emails proving they were to blame their only offer of a fix (this is after months of headaches) was to change the back barrell size to something smaller which in turn would have forced me to buy new tires as the 275's should not be fit on a smaller rim.

I did more research after the fact and I guess there is a reason more complaints pop up when you search for iForged than any other custom forged wheel maker. :34:

I will be replacing my wheels with either AZA forged or NCforged when it's time to get new tires.

For those of you that reacted to the earlier comment and now find your replies missing, a better way to handle these situations is simply to report the bad post... Click the exclamation point beneath the user's avatar/personal info. and let Admin handle it rather than perpetuate the problem through quotes and replies.

Thanks for getting the thread back on track PixelPusher...
