Over the weekend I installed rear disc brake rotors, pads and rear passenger cv axle. After everything was finished I got in the car. Once started (in park) the instrument cluster displays "Standby" and when I push on the brake pedal, there's a ticking noise coming from the center console. I thought this was strange and turned the car off. I took the tire off to inspect the cv axle and everything was fine. After putting the tire back on I noticed the car was in neutral and could be pushed even though its in park. I couldn't find anything online about this and tried to move the car. With it running, shifting from drive to park sounds like the gears are slipping and it barely moves in drive and reverse. Has anyone come across this before?
