Steering kickback and bad roads

Many of us have complained about steering kick back on bad roads in the C which in my case has been helped with new tires (GY ComforTreads).

From C&D 10/05 Re: the Mazda MX5 Miata: "The MX5 gets you close to the contact patches, but excessive kickback over bad roads gets annoying"

The MX5 is a lightweight riding on Pilots, not self seal Contis. Seems DC is not the only one to ignore this steering trait (flaw)

The Chevy HHR and Impala have zero kickback on bad roads, seems GM engineers decided to pay attention to this vexing problem.

I think our steering kick is something we will have to learn to live with, mine is now tolerable with new tires.
