Does any one know how easy it is or were to get info on how to remove the trim around the stereo? Im trying to remove the original unit. But cant find the proper way I heard someone say by the ash tray but dont wan to try it because it might break...please any help :eek:uch:

Start by the ashtray - it is scary as hell.
It takes quite a bit to release it. The trick is when it does give -STOP! I felt that when it came loose it would have snapped higher up if I pulled too hard. Once the bottom releases then move farther up and do it again (much easier this time. Then there are a couple more catches at the top.

In my magnum, it was easiest to reach into the compartment ABOVE THE ASHTRAY and pull outward. Never tried it in a 300c.
