Sticker - 38,300
I paid - 34,300

Dealer gave me 'Chrysler Employee' discount...of 4K, is that normal? I figured that there wouldn;t be much room to haggle on this car. I guess I was wrong.

CJ300 - How I got it.

I talked to them on the phone and said I would order a 300C the next day from them if they sold it to me for invoice price. They are still making money even at Invoice price, so they agreed to order one up for me. I know how the car business works as I have a friend that owns a Lexus dealership.

I think the most I have ever paid for a vehicle is $100 over invoice. Typically I get it for under invoice, but all I tried for on the 300C was invoice price. I am more than happy to pay that price.

I typically buy a new car every few years.

I will have a great deal on a 2002 Jetta GLS (4 cycl) with Heated Leather, power moonroof, monsoon stereo, 49K miles, etc when my 300C comes. Its my wifes car. SHe is getting the Durango, and I am getting the 300C! :D If anyone knows anyone intersted I will be selling it for around NADA TRADE in VALUE. (I am in MN)

I am paying 2% over invoice less any discounts available. However, invoice has changed since I ordered on April 17. Will see if dealer will stick with original invoice. Hadn't planned to finance but if $1000 rebate is still available, will take advantage of it and then pay off at earliest possible date. There also were a couple of other discounts available at original order date. Hope I can still get those discounts.

MSRP 38,600
Out the door 31,400 (with $1000. loyalty cash)

The dealer told me he would give me the Employee price for some reason. I didnt believe he was giving me anything special till I called around to some bigger dealers further away. This dealer is realy a Jeep dealer and doesnt get much chrysler non jeep business. Anyway everyone else laughed at me when I asked for the same deal or better. Im not an employee so I thought this was just some Chrysler promotion when they rolled out the car the end of April. I didnt sleep the next night thinking the guy would back off his first offer, but he was true to his word. I ordered it May 1 and got it July 29. Still getting used to all the gadgets/ quirks but I do love the car

I realy missed the boat not getting the Sirrius!!!!
You can add it on without a problem. It will be fully integrated into the existing stereo (unlike the add-on Uconnect). I believe that there may currently be a back order for dealer ordered units though.
