i was wondering if the subwoofers are better facing forward or rearward. im trying to redo the back of the magnum and have seen may set ups with the woofers facing toward the front of the car vs the rear. i have 3 12 jl's if that makes a difference.

thanks.

That's a raging debate in all forums and the real answer depends on
the car, the subs, and enclosure. I think you have an advantage since
you have a magnum, as it may be more forgiving of certain sub arrangements.

Most cases, I would advise taking a really cheap sub in a basic box that
you can move around to find the optimal arrangement, then go with
that for your real sub setup.

Being as you already have your subs it's a little late for that. The
best option may not be the best in convenience. An example would be at
the very back against the rear and facing forward. This would block your access into the rear storage. So you'd need to compromise between what is optimal and what is useable.

This is a little long-winded, but I would vote behind the rear seat and
facing the rear, given what you have already. But be sure use as
much sound deadening as possible. Also be ready to play with the
polarity of your sub system to make sure it integrates well with your
mid/highs.
