There are plenty that have done this. It is not for the faint of heart though. The hinges are usually pretty cheap, like around 500 to 1000 bucks, but that is the easy part. Its the labor and paint that will get you. expect to spend around 5 grand or so for a good job.

I would agree with you on everything else but the price... cost would most likely be in the 10k+ range.

weve done 3 sets, 700 to 1000 for hindges ....4--6k labor
for factory perfect quality. no sag , door locks and handles still work.

Damn, that's what Tommy Z does! Very impressive. Any reputable California shops that have done Suicide doors on our 300's?

Hey TommyZ, I'm assuming ya made the rear lip for those tips? what would it take to have something slightly similar done up for me?
