I just found this forum and searched for issues with the sun roof but didnt see any compliants about noise. Mine started to rattle and its driving me nuts. The service guys said that they dont have a solution.? Am I I the only one with a bunk roof? or is this happening to you too? If so what are you doing to fix it?

My sun roof cover (inside the car) rattles when it is fully open, but is fine when it is closed. I'm going to bring it to the dealer to look at.

I was at my dealer today, because of some issues with the dash. I saw a service fix for the sunroof, in their bulletins.

The right side of my dash, at the speaker and base of the windshield, is about 5/8 of an inch higher than on the left side. It feels spongy loose. It also has a rattle in that area. THREE of the four 300's that were at the dealer had that problem.

There is also a fix for the rattling rear deck. They put two strips of insulation between the rear deck cover and the sheetmetal.

Dixietwister, was there a fix for the dash issue? I know there is a bunch of us on the board having this problem, especially up by the front right speaker. I know some people have tried to get it fixed but ended up worse off afterwards. Any update you have on this would be appreciated by lots of the members here. Let us know how it turns out. Seems as this could be a major design or build problem when it comes to fit and finish. Thanks!
