Well folks FYI and if this helps any one. All issues have their different twists. Have had this car for 11 months now and finally got my sun roof rattle fixed. I had stopped using the roof. Tough smoking a cigar with out cracking the roof. I will say with some patience me and my dealer have now solved many a problem. They even detailed my car for me. Back to the roof. This is according to them - but I can tell you the rattle is finally gone. They said two screws were loose from the factory and getting looser over tome. They also replaced one of those accordian looking things.

Had my tires rotated a little time back. Since than, had some extra steering wheel vibration and things just did not feel real tight at high speed. They re-balanced all my tires and all is much better.

Keep on Hemi-ing down the road.

That does it, I'm going back to West Oaks and making them look at mine again. I've had issues w/ noises (rattling, squeeking, etc) from my sunroof since I was in Chicago months ago. My dealing in IL was about to replace it, but I moved to Cali before they could. Of course the noises went away with the warm weather out here. But now the rattling is getting bad again. Time to talk to the service mgr. again.

Could you describe the rattle you had. Now that Spring is here, I am now opening the roof. In the Fall, I started to get a rattle that was noticable when it was open. Now, it seems to be a lot worse. Sounds like it could be the same problem. You wouldn't happen to know where the loose screws were located, do you?

I'll tell you what they told me. It was the right front of the unit (as you sit in the drivers seat and look up). They had to pull some of the liner to fix it. In the right front where the sunroof actually bolts to the car, screws were loose. Also they replaced the right side black plastic accordian looking thing. My sun roof had gotten to the point where I never used it cause when I cracked it the rattle was so bad.

Mine used to rattle from the front driver's side. I took it in to the dealer two times when they said they would look at. The first time (had it for 3 days)they told me they fixed it. They did not. The second time they kept it for 4 days, and didn't fix it. And then they had the nerve to tell me that they couldn't fix it, because they don't pull headliners, and I have to bring it back again for them to send it to a trim shop. The trim shop pulled the headliner and fixed it in one day. Why the hell didn't the dealership just send it to the trim shop the first time?

Oh well, it's all better now. The trim shop fixed some loose screws/bolts. Sounds like there will be a TSB eventually.

What are the black accordians on the sides for? I've had mine replaced once, and now they're broke again and making noise. I'm about to just oull them both totally off and leave it.

There was a TSB on this a while back. Mine had it. The dealer replaced the sunroof and within 4 months it came back. I took in the TSB, I got it from this site, and asked them to do what it said. Fixed the problem and it has never returned. Check the TSB forum here for details on it.
