The Supercharger is running great, there is very little noise. You get a little noise at idle from the unit it's self and just a little air inlet noise. The drivability is awesome, you do have to get used to driving in the first 15% of the throttle if you don't want to light the tires up. It pulls very firmly and when shifting you can feel the pop-off valve releasing the pressure, you feel it as a power reduction <like getting off the gas a bit>. You have to be a bit more aware if you are going to pass from behind, as you begin to speed up and then make your lane change you really come up on the car in front your FAST, don't look away to troo long on side to double check your blind spot as you might hit the guy in front of you.

The run the car around with the dash in "Tech" mode so I can read out the exact readings from the PCM and I never get over 219 temp in stop and go traffic and I cruise at about 204, even after racing around with WD the engine never got hotter than 205.

More to come.....
Looking forward to the new exhaust next week

when driving you can change the small display on your dash to present the data in numeric values at in real time <well as real as the PCM can see it>

The exhaust I am doing is the from MagnaFlow, I already have an appointment to have it installed and cannot wait.

I think he might be referring to the EVIC display in diag mode...or maybe not.

I was thinking it might be a custom display that gives output from the GSM fuel/engine management system....hmmm....I think you're right....

I'd like to know how to get "tech" info from the EVIC.

I thought the Magnaflow for the SRT8 was not ready for the public yet. Who do you know? Are you getting a 'one off"?

the kit is not available yet to the public but it is complete.

It will be the same kit that is in WD's car, they are the same.

So now I know who is the 300C SRT-8 guinea pig...
which is cool...
I might have to sign over my license plate I ordered to you jketron and not even let it grace my car if you put any more horsies in that thing...
some 0-60 times would be nice to see... :wink1:

do you have the regular cats and the regular headers from the srt or do you already have better ones because it seems to me that with a supercharger its best to get as much air out as possible due to the buildup of incomming air so a header change and a cats change should give you at least 20 more hp but besides that it will help the longjevity of the engine and supercharger if you dont already have them.

Hahahaha!!! I saw it in person, though, so I now it is real and not the matrix

Also, this supercharged SRT-8 has a very 'cute' Supercharged emblem on the back(sorry John, I had too  ) I got a good look at it for a few seconds as it left me at a fairly good rate.

Nice call WD....

I made the mistake of calling the emblem on the car cute as a joke and he didn't let me live it down.

Speaking of plates, my SRT ATE plate came in, I need to go pick it up now.

As for the exhaust manifolds, once they produce a hi-flow cats I'll try them out too. I'd like headers but I don't want to deal with the underhood temps

I second that !!! I just took our car in for the pre-inspection to allow me to register it and pay the state taxes. I know the wait will be killer and then they will want 6.25% of the purchase price! I should get express service for that cash ;)

I am thinking about a custom plate for ours, too....I shouldn't have put too much thought into it when you said it, but now it is sitting on the brain just waiting to jump out at the DMV :D
