Had a big cold snap this year! tried to open left side driver door and the rear passenger door same side, frozen, and the mechanism that pivots the front of the handle has snapped. is there any work around, or where can I find them to replace them ? I think it could be a ass of a job, possibly; Any help would be good

RockAuto had oem, along with several 3rd party for my '05. Take a look-see if they have what you need

Hi been digging around, and have found a new one for it, at a good price. just not sure about having ago myself to swap it out, or just drop to the shop, can get it installed for about 25$ umm is it worth the hassle..

It's 3 small bolts and 2 snaps. It's easy enough, but a bit awkward as you need to reach up behind the window to get at one bolt. It can take less than an hour. You can find several video's on youtube which show what gets done.

If you don't want to deal with it, and can afford the shop... then let them do it.
