I agree. This is f***ing criminal! I should've known that "at the earliest", actually means "yeah right". All of the posts were saying that they might start rolling if not this week, then next. Should've know that means "next week" at best.cbutler32 said:

If there has'nt been any credible surfacing of actual SRT8's w/ Kickers being scheduled/built, i'm heading right to the dealership from the airport to see the GM. I'm going to demand that they get the zone-rep to remove RC5 :AR15firin from my order asap. I'll take my chances that this might affect my slotting in the build order. The BA6 is good enough. This is freaking nutz.

as for the information on the kicker coming out this week...
that is from me based on the information I heard from multiple sources...
as of the post from resumespeed on Wed. they was no kicker's produced yet (which would have been Mon. and Tue.)
so hopefully he comes on and puts up a list of cars that has kickers in the run that have been built...

This is beyond ridiculous. I can not really believe that I am still waiting for this car. I should have bought something else by now, but The dealer has my 10% non refundable deposit since January. By the time I get my car the pipeline will be full of srt8's and they will be discounting them. Just build the car with the ba7 system.
I do not understand how a company the size of DCX can eliminate the high end stereo system (ba7) on the 300 before they have the new one (KICKER) ready for production.

I know this car is the coolest I have ever driven. All of you laying in wait, why not just buy one off the lot. You'll get immediate satisfaction, the BA7 system is fine and you will be off to the races. You may even be able to get one slightly over MSRP. Please don't flame me - just suggesting you alleviate the pain with some immediate driving pleasure. Hit 1100 miles today and had yet another dealer call me. "We are still working on your order, Sir, we expect build date later this month if not early July"
Oh, sales rep mentioned something about MSRP "premium" but was not clear on how much.

1. Some of our orders were placed before Feb. 4th, which means the GGT is waived, in addition to the price freeze from the 2004 model.
2. We are'nt interested in getting buttf**ked by paying some ridiculous dealer markup.
If I could "simply buy one off the lot", believe me, I would.
I could give a s**t less about the damn kicker system. I listen primarily to WWJ-950AM and Bloomberg.
